How do I use Have A Fortune?

1. Get a random fortune cookie or browse and search for your favorite fortunes.
2. If you're not logged in, click on the button at the top right corner of any page. More info about signing in with Twitter.
3. Rate how lucky you feel now and write a note about the fortune you received. Then, click on the "Eat fortune cookie" button.
4. You will find your saved cookies on your profile page: http://haveafortune.com/login/

Who created the site?

Have A Fortune was developed and designed by Ian Li, who is very fond of fortune cookies. He has been collecting fortunes since he was in high school, which was a long time ago. His collection is stored in a fortune jar, but many remain scattered on his desk, in drawers, and in his shirt pockets.

Colophon

The font for the logo is Helvetica Neue Light. The layout is built on top of Blueprint CSS. The code is written in Ruby with the fantastic web application framework Ruby on Rails.
